With the conclusion of Power Rangers Cosmic Fury marking the end of the saga’s first 30 seasons, it’s a good time for a Power Rangers reboot to bring something new. They’ve been planning a young adult Power Rangers series for a while, but we don’t know much about it. The conclusion of Power Rangers Cosmic Fury felt like an end not only to the final season but to the entire show. This creates an opportunity for the next Power Rangers series to start over and give the saga a fresh start.

A new young adult Power Rangers reboot is in the works, and the upcoming TV show has a great opportunity to focus on one of the franchise’s most interesting villains (who hasn’t been seen in live-action before). The popular superhero series, based on the Japanese Super Sentai franchise, began in 1993 with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers on Fox. Since then, there have been many shows and movies starring the transformed heroes. The original series became a huge entertainment brand with toys, animated series, live-action movies and more. Now, there’s hope the franchise can be updated with the reboot series currently in development
