Merida, the fearless Scottish princess, returns for an all-new adventure in Brave 2, set against the backdrop of the stunning Scottish Highlands. With her fierce independence and remarkable archery skills, Merida faces a new challenge: a mystical force threatening to unravel the very fabric of her kingdom. As she embarks on a journey to protect her family, her people, and the magical land she loves, Merida will discover that some of the most difficult battles are fought within oneself.

After the events of the first film, Merida (voiced by Kelly Macdonald) has become a celebrated figure in Dunbroch, having mended her relationship with her mother, Elinor (voiced by Emma Thompson), and solidified her position as the kingdom’s strong-willed leader. However, peace is short-lived as a mysterious new enemy emerges—a powerful sorcerer with control over ancient magic that disrupts the very balance of the land.

The sorcerer, Morwen, seeks to revive an ancient curse that would erase the very foundations of Merida’s family. As the curse begins to take hold, the kingdom’s forests, rivers, and mountains start to wither and decay. In a desperate bid to stop the sorcerer and save her kingdom, Merida must once again step into the wild, journeying into forbidden lands and seeking the counsel of ancient forces and mythical creatures.
